EAA Chapter 1361 will be conducting it’s first Young Eagles event of the year on June 8, 2024, EAA’s International Young Eagles Day. The chapter will also be holding it’s first Pancake Breakfast at the same time as the Young Eagles event.

Both will be conducted in the Reno-Stead Airport terminal at 4895 Texas Avenue, Reno, NV 89506

Young Eagles events are for kids ages 8 to 17. Young Eagle participants will receive a short briefing on aircraft and how they fly as well as general safety subjects to remember when moving in the area of aircraft. The briefing will also cover all of the benefits of participating in the Young Eagles program. After the briefing, participants will be assigned to a volunteer pilot who will introduce them to a small general aviation aircraft and then take them for a short flight. The event will be commemorated with a Young Eagles flight certificate and a pilot logbook.
