Each year EAA sends out an online chapter survey to all of its members. It asks questions such as whether or not you belong to a local chapter and if you do why did you choose that chapter, what do you like about it and what do you think the chapter leadership could do better.
The survey goes back to EAA in Oshkosh, WI where they compile all of the results and then provide those results to each chapter’s leadership team. The results include the survey answers specific to their particular chapter and also compares those answers to the results of the survey compared to the entire 900 EAA chapters.
Chapter member participation in the annual survey is also one of the ten recognition factors in determining the status given to the chapter. Your chapter receives a chapter recognition point if at least 20 percent of your chapter members participate in the survey (number of members is determined by the chapter-reported number during renewal), and your chapter receives a Net Promoter Score of at least 50 out of 100 (chapter network average is approximately 60). Net Promoter Score is determined based on a 1 to 10 numerical answer given to the question “How likely is it that you would recommend your chapter to a friend or colleague?
So, please take the time to complete this year’s survey when you see it in your inbox.
