We will be meeting at our usual spot – the NV Wing CAP Headquarters building at 601 S. Rock. Join us for our IMC Club scenario discussions at 6 PM.

For our June IMC Club meeting instead of discussing an IFR scenario we will be receiving a FAASTeam presentation on using the Foreflight aviation application on an iPad tablet. Look for a notification of the event on https://www.faasafety.gov.

The presentation will start with the basics of what hardware and application subscriptions are available, the application set-up process and then will run through a typical flight planning process.

If you wish to receive Wings credit for attending the presentation just annotate the sign-in roster and provide the email you have associated with your FAASafety.gov account.

Our Club meetings will continue to be conducted in a guided discussion format rather than a lecture series so that each member of the group can have a chance to give their views and ask questions based upon their experience level.
