The best thing to do in the winter is to take your airplane apart. I like long underwear and lots of layers. If you get a lot of grease on your hands they don’t feel so cold. Don’t try to heat your work space because 100 octane is amazingly flammable and with all those clothes on you wont be able to run very fast. When you do get your condition check done you can fly out to some friendly warm airports. We are lucky to have several close airports with restaurants on the field. You can sometimes find a warm hangar with flying stories (some true) if you bring a smile and maybe a joke. On a kind of serious note Mike Reynolds has been beating the drums for a flight of aircraft to fly to Oshkosh next year. Stay tuned. Leave your wheel pants off until March and FLY SAFE.
