When checking the Minden Airport TAF (KMEV) you currently receive the forecast for the closest airport that publishes an aviation weather forecast – which is the Carson City Airport IKCXP).

In September the Minden Airport will have a Terminal Aerodrome Forecast (TAF) of its own published and available to pilots.

To celebrate the event, Soaring Nevada is hosting an Aviation Weather Seminar on September 10th at 1 pm at their facility. Their event flyer is shown below.
