EAA Chapter 1361 will be having our next Young Eagles event on June 17th, 2017 at the Reno-Stead Airport!
We will be hosting our Young Eagles event at the Reno-Stead Airport in front of 14501 Mt. Anderson Street. Enter the airport at the Mt Anderson access gate and park just inside the fence.
We will have a pancake breakfast, STEM science experiments with the 99’s, the Challenger Learning Center Digital Dome and aircraft displays. Come out, have a great time and learn more about how airplanes fly!
Young Eagles, ages 8-17, may have their parent or guardian register for a free airplane flight with one of our EAA Chapter pilot volunteers. Participation gets the new Young Eagle a certificate commemorating the flight, a logbook to record their flight experiences, a student membership in the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) and a special access code for online aviation training through Sporty’s Pilot Shop.
Registration and pancakes start at 8 am. We will conduct flights as long as the winds and weather permit them to be conducted safely.
We will be posting the latest information about the event here and on the EAA Chapter 1361 Facebook Page.
