You may have noticed that the menu item for the Chapter Store has been removed. This is the response that we received from Amazon concerning our application to become an Amazon Affiliate:
While reviewing your Amazon Associates application, we noticed that your web site announces that a portion or all proceeds of Amazon.com orders will benefit a particular group, charity, or organization. Associates are not allowed to offer incentives to visitors to purchase through their links by stating a certain amount will be donated, rebated, etc.
We are unable to approve your application and have closed the account under which you had been temporarily approved and that approval has now ended.
Since the Chapter is a 501(c)(3) public charity and I said in the Store Policies that we would use the store proceeds to help our Chapter we have been denied the ability to sell Amazon products through our store. When we are able to stock our own Chapter/EAA logo merchandise the store will be reinstated.
