EAA Chapter 1361 had a booth set up at this year’s Soaring Society of America (SSA) Convention in the Reno-Sparks Convention Center.  We had two chapter representatives in the booth  each day of the convention to promote general aviation and our local chapter’s activities.

Most of the convention attendees who stopped by the booth were from other areas around the country and quite a few were already EAA members. All expressed thanks for being there and representing EAA to the convention attendees.

A couple of notable attendees were Kyle Ludwick, EAA’s manager of partnership development and Dick VanGruensven, head of Van’s Aircraft and a member of the Board of Directors of EAA.
