Due to recent events surrounding the Covid-19 virus the EAA Chapter 1361 Board of Directors has decided to cancel the Young Eagles event scheduled for April 4, 2020 with the hopes that it may be rescheduled for a weekend in June.

Everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves on Saturday for our first Chapter 1361 Young Eagle event of 2019. We conducted 16 flights which provided 28 Young Eagles with an introduction to general aviation. PHOTO GALLERY INCLUDED.

It was a great day to finish up our Young Eagles Event!
On May 5th before our regularly scheduled Chapter meeting we were able to finish up our Young Eagles flights from April 28th. Twelve more kids were able to experience personal flying for the first time.
We had a Windy and Fun Event on April 28th
We flew 25 Young Eagles last Saturday before the winds forced us to stop flying. We will be conducting Young Eagles flights for those who registered last week but were unable to get their flight completed on May 5th beginning at 8 am.
