The recently announced Phillips 66 Flight Training Award is available through EAA to support flight training costs in the amount of $13,200. Any U.S. or Canadian citizen interested in learning to fly is encouraged to apply. Flight training must occur at a Phillips 66 branded FBO, with previous EAA Young Eagles given preference for the scholarship. The application deadline is June 15.
Flight Training Scholarships
Applications for the 2017 Sport Pilot Academy Scholarship are open. The session will run from Aug 12 through Sep 2. The scholarship, worth $9,999, covers full tuition, room and meals for the 3-week training program.

The Hayward Air Rally will sponsor 2-Advanced Air Academy Scholarships from the best applications submitted from or near Corning-Redding, Hayward and nearby locations, and the Reno area. These scholarships include tuition and transportation to Oshkosh. The Advanced Air Academy is July 28 – August 5, 2017 and is concurrent with a portion of Air Venture.
