More than $75,000 in EAA Scholarships Open for Applicants
Since 1989, the AAAE Foundation has issued over 2900 scholarship checks totaling $4.96 million, making the organization one of the largest supporters of higher education assistance in the entire aviation industry.
AOPA has opened their flight training scholarship program for 2018. Scholarships are available for both primary and advanced training.
The deadline for applying to receive a Hayward Air Rally Scholarship to this year’s EAA Air Academy is February 1, 2018.
The recently announced Phillips 66 Flight Training Award is available through EAA to support flight training costs in the amount of $13,200. Any U.S. or Canadian citizen interested in learning to fly is encouraged to apply. Flight training must occur at a Phillips 66 branded FBO, with previous EAA Young Eagles given preference for the scholarship. The application deadline is June 15.
Applications for the 2017 Sport Pilot Academy Scholarship are open. The session will run from Aug 12 through Sep 2. The scholarship, worth $9,999, covers full tuition, room and meals for the 3-week training program.
