AAAE Scholarships are Another Source of Financial Aid

The AAAE is the American Association of Airport Executives.  Founded in 1928, AAAE is the world’s largest professional organization for airport executives, representing thousands of airport management personnel at public-use commercial and general aviation airports. AAAE’s members represent nearly 875 airports and authorities, in addition to hundreds of companies and organizations that support airports.

Since 1989, the AAAE Foundation has issued over 2900 scholarship checks totaling $4.96 million, making the organization one of the largest supporters of higher education assistance in the entire aviation industry.

In 2018, the AAAE Foundation will award $467,000 to 161 students. The AAAE Foundation has more than doubled its giving in the past three years.

The AAAE Foundation offers a number of scholarships aimed at supporting our Accredited Airport Executives (A.A.E.s) and their families, as well as scholarships to support the best and brightest future leaders in our profession.
