Women Pilots
The Reno Area Chapter 99s is offering two scholarships:
One Private Certificate – $2000
Must hold a valid student pilot certificate and have completed first solo prior to February 21, 2025 or have passed the written exam and proof it is current prior to the application.
Must hold a valid private pilot certificate and current medical or equivalent and have a minimum of five hours logged with an instructor towards the rating being sought, if applicable.
Applications must be received by February 21, 2025
Interviews will be held on March 8, 2025 at
Stellar Aviation at Reno-Tahoe International Airport
To qualify you must:
- Currently reside within 99m of Reno to the west north and south or to the border east of Reno
- Have lived in the area for at least one year
- Have not been a recipient of any Reno Area 99s scholarships for the past three years
